Malaysia Economic Growth: A Summary

Whenever I read about economic articles, it always led me to ponder about what I've learnt so far, and trying to memorized and applied the lesson on the particular article. I admit, I am still not yet that good, as I need to take time to think and relate with the lesson that I've learnt in the class. Sometimes, I have the urged wanting to revise my revision books. For example, when I heard about Greece's proposal for "bridge loan", that particular term was not learnt in class. So I have to ask "Professor Google" about it. Actually, that is not what I am intended to write right here, What I am intended to write here is regarding the forecasted Malaysia's economic growth since that was the headline for today's New Straits Times.

Since most Malaysian are too lazy to read, I'm going to simplify and extract out the essence of the article. This article is due to our Bank Negara Malaysia governor, Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz comments at the release of 2014 Bank Negara annual report yesterday.

1. In a highly open economy, in the event that external risks materialized, Malaysia will adversely affected, but our "strong fundamentals" will act as buffer to mitigate the impact.
As expected, the challenging market out there will somehow affected our economy. However, in order to make people feel ease a little bit about it, we can say that the impact will not be sudden. But I guess it will be proportionally felt by us. Those "fundamentals" can be assumed as cushion or airbag to slow down the impact.

2. Headline inflation is projected to be lower at two to three per cent this year compared to average 3.2% last year due to the lower global energy and food prices.
Aside from the fluctuates fuel price, I can't relate any of it or even imagine it, at least right now . So far, every expenses burden me. Maybe this can  be changed later on this year?

3. Ringgit was significantly undervalued.
She however dismissed the notion that this happened due to Malaysia's dependence on a particular sector *cough* Oil & Gas *cough*. She said that 80% of the economy structure are services and manufacturing  sector combined. Which currency depreciation is beneficial for those two sector because it can increased exports from the country. So, should I suggest we go for local products as alternatives for imported product before?

4. Local banking sector remained strong.
She claimed that Bank Negara Malaysia conducted stress tests on a quarterly basis so that action can be taken whenever there is vulnerability that can cause economic disruption detected.

5. The implementation of the GST will affect the earning of commodity-related sector.
This is due to the lower consumption by the public, as expected. But she said it can be neutralized by the lower fuel price. She also claimed that GST impact on overall headline inflation was expected to be contained, because basic necessities are either zero-rated or exempted from GST while for some other items, the GST would merely replace the existing SST, she said.

6. Public consumption expected to grow moderately, public investment to grow positively.

7. Gross exports is projected to moderate amid lower commodity prices. Export of manufactured products, however, expected to increase at a stronger growth rate.

8. Steady inflow of new large private projects and strong domestic demand are expected to drive growth in imports.

In my personal opinion, we have to see this as a whole. Maybe it is right, Malaysia's economy expected to grow steadily. But that is just a valuation based on the number. A holistic approach should be taken in order for us to achieve our dream to be a fully developed nation by 2020 (still skeptical about it). It would mean nothing if we manage to be a highly-income nation yet our wealth disparity still yet near to be solved. We shouldn't be selfish in developing a nation. Let us grow together and together, we can enjoy fruitful and prosperous nation.

WrestleMania 30: Transition to the New Era?

Image taken from here

It's been a while since I wrote about wrestling and honestly it's quite awkward to write back. So please excuse me for the awkwardness that you'll perhaps encounter throughout this entry. Wrestlemania XXX (it means 30) is just 3 weeks away on 6th April (or 7th according to your timezone). From my personal opinion, there are so much things happening right now that it actually shows us the new direction toward this business.

Young Guns Jumping On

You just cannot deny the fact that many young talent nowadays get pushed by the WWE. Just look at Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt(both are on the poster), Roman Reign and Antonio Cesaro (okay, just Cesaro). Plus, they back it up with superb performance. The audience are backing they up. WWE really made great return on that NXT investment. That means the very talented midcarders like Dolph Ziggler, Tyson Kidd, heck, even Alberto Del Rio left behind because of these young talented rising stars. The crowd still chanting "We Want Ziggler" on each show. I know it because I want it to. He is one of the best seller in my book. Even when he had to be a jobber, he do it well and of course, stealing the show. I feel sorry and disappointed for him. This is the problem WWE are facing right now, (this is just my opinion, you don't have to agree if you want to) the "pool of talent" that WWE have is too many, it's "spilling off". And then you see familiar face like Ethan Carter III on TNA. Of course it's so obvious that he is Derrick Bateman from NXT. It's not wrong having so many talent on the roster, I just believe if only they can have a good build up story line, that will be great for TV. But I know I just can hope and honestly, managing so many talent is a real pain in the A$$.

Fans Perspective

WWE fans (damn it, I don't want to use universe, it's too cheesy) is very different on the previous era. Fans nowadays watching wrestling for a good match, and smooth story line. We (I include myself into the universe) treated it as we watch other TV series. We know it is scripted, not like before that the fans take some serious heat to the wrestler, basically a heel. We nowadays appreciate well executed wrestling maneuver and good, entertaining story line. We even cheer for a heel. We don't dig wrestlers with big, bulky muscular man anymore. As long they perform on the ring and entertained us, we're fine. We are more appreciating good performers than individual themselves. That is what happened to poor Batista. He did a comeback, won Royal Rumble and straight away get a main event spot in WrestleMania for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? That is pissing CM Punk thus left WWE for good. And just like he said in his infamous pipebomb,

I'm just a spoke on the wheel -- the wheel's gonna keep turning. And I understand that...
People will still buy PPV, watch RAW and SmackDown (I know I do) and bought merchandises. However Punk, personally I still miss you, your pipebomb and your in-ring action. If you ever feel want to make a comeback, I will cheer you. From my living room (or wherever I am).

Conclusion

As a conclusion, WWE need to adapt with this new direction of the wants of the fans. With their WWE Network (still not available in Malaysia, why Vince, why?), they're heading a little bit to the right direction and I hope to see more quality matches and story lines in the future. Or else I'll stop watching WWE and watching TNA. (I'm joking, TNA has best matches, but sucks at their story line). A lot of young and talented wrestlers waiting their turn to barge in to the main roster.

See you later,

Allah dah tunjuk kuasa-Nya

Tapi malangnya amat jarang sekali saya mengerjakan solat berjemaah. Bukankah tanggungjawab seorang lelaki untuk solat berjemaah? Malangnya, saya bukan baik. Semasa saya belajar di UTHM dahulu, bila saya pulang ke klang, saya agak rajin berjemaah. Tapi kini bila saya gagal menghabiskan pengajian, dan kembali mengambil diploma, saya berhenti berjemaah, kerana apa? Kerana saya malu bila orang tanya apa saya buat sekarang.

"Allahumma inni a'uzubika min 'azabil qubr wa min 'azabinnar, wa min fitnati mahya wal mamat, wa min fitnati masiihiddajjal"

InfiniteSane Daily is back! But... (English/Malay)

create your meme yourself at memegene.net

(English)

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all visitors (not sure if there're still any) Infinitesane Daily. After almost 7 months this blog being abandon, I decided to resurrect it back. Don't hope too much, I'm still not able to give 100% commitment to this blog. Unfortunately, I will not able to "revamp" the whole blog. The interface might be just the same.

However, the Daily Dose will not exist anymore after this. The Daily Dose concept will just refrain Infinitesane Daily to update any news/stories as fast as we can. I will also try to find any contributor to write here. I guess this is all for now. I'll see you again next post.

(Melayu)

Syria, Egypt and Palestine: The Reason We Should Be Grateful

Assalamualaikum and very good day to InfinitesaneDaily viewer.

This Saturday is the independence day for Malaysia. I just want to say that I'm very grateful breathing on a free land, despite of political issues lingering around this country, I still can say that I can still walk around, having a good time with my family and friends without having any restriction or detention.

Independence day has become a celebration for Malaysian, a public holiday. Many (not all) young people are more concern about where to hang out on the night of the celebration rather than to reflect on the sacrifices made for our freedom.

When I turn on the news and saw conflict in Syria, Egypt and Palestine, my heart cry. As a Muslim, they're my brothers and sisters. Sometimes I don't want to watch it because it hurt. Assad with the chemical weapon, and USA insist to attack Syria. Who is the victim? Of course the defenseless citizen. You don't have to be smart to know that.

So, I urge all Malaysian to be grateful and embrace the freedom. Do not jeopardize this freedom just for a political interests. It's fine to have differences, but don't make it as an excuse to ruin this freedom.

I wish we all live in peace and harmony.

Dilema melayu: Agama Atau Bangsa?

Rumah dah siap, pahat masih berbunyi.

Melayu kalau berniaga? Sesama melayu pun saling nak menjatuhkan. Macam mana nak maju?

Selamat mencuba!

Daniel Bryan is On Fire!

Image taken from here

Have you seen Daniel Bryan on action lately? Wow! He's been on fire. I have missed wrestling for a while due to my "busy" schedule. But from what I've read from twitter, everybody talking about how good Daniel Bryan recently. "The Best In The World in What He Does" also approved that. I mean Chris Jericho if somebody wonder about it. He mention in his twitter that Daniel Bryan is the most entertaining man in the business currently. Fortunately, I now have some free time and I watched him in action. It is REALLY ENTERTAINING! The pace, the intensity, really excite me personally. I have high hope that the management will push him fairly. He deserves it. I'm looking forward for his storyline.

Orang-orang Muda Luar Sana, Anda Ada Akaun Tabung Haji?

Biar sikit, asalkan istiqamah.

Jumpa lagi,
See you later,
Mata ne,
Hasta luego,
Wassalam...

Kempen Barisan Nasional Bakal Memakan Diri?

Isu hudud, tolonglah jangan persenda hukum agama. Lihat sahaja iklan di "The Star".

Kenapa Melayu dahulu gah?

Sampai sini dahulu, dah panjang benar saya menaip ni. Jumpa lagi di lain kali. Dari "1st time voter",

Wassalam,
K-tea

My Pitch: Infinitesane 1st Short Film

Assalamualaikum and welcome to Infinitesane Daily. It is "Wednesday Wonder" and I am proudly present to you the first Infinitesane short film. Yeah, credit goes to all cast that probably forced to act in this project. Actually this short film is a project in a class that I'm attended to. So, please forgive any amateurishness in that production. We don't have enough time to shoot, we don't have decent equipment, we can afford to shoot many places and many more. That is why I decided to make a simple and straight-forward story. But, there are more if you watch closely. I'll tell you later after you watch it.

Synopsis/spoiler:

Two person, same passion. Andika and Bobby love football/soccer. But they are not a hustler. They only play the game on PC. Andika loves local team, Selangor. While Bobby loves foreign club, Chelsea. One day, Bobby caught red-handed by Andika talking bad about Malaysian football/soccer. They have a cold relationship after that incident. Of course, it has a happy ending. Both of them decided to bury the hatchet and continue supporting their team.

What lies behind that short film:

Remember my promise to preserve the continuity of Jawi writing system? I did in this piece. And I also put pantun in it. There are actually more but that is not as important as that. Because I really feel responsible about having our identity preserved in my piece.

I think that is all for now. See you guys later.

A Few Hours Before The Showcase of Immortal, WrestleMania!

Assalamualaikum and welcome to Infinitesane Daily "Sunday Sunnyday". As you all already know, Infinitesane Daily is rarely updated. I got another commitment so this Infinitesane Daily is my opportunity cost. But, why wouldn't I miss to write about WrestleMania when the showcase of the immortal just in a few hour? So, here it is.

First, the matches lineup that we will watch at wrestlemania. I take this image from a facebook page that I followed, here.

I can't write much, but most of the matches are highly anticipated for me. Unfortunately, I can't watch it live since it is already Monday here in Malaysia. So, I will just manage to watch it much later on.

~New Faces~

Fandango and Big E will have their in-ring debut at the grandest stage of them all? Wow...I can't wait to watch them in action. Fandango will face Chris Jericho and Big E, if he and Ziggy win will be crowned as the tag team champion.

~Battle of the strongest~

This match is also get me interested. There are nothing much to say. I'm just unsure whether Ryback can gives shell shock to Mark Henry or not.

~The rest~

The main event? I just can't write much about it. I'm not saying that the matches aren't great, it's just kinda cliché if you ask me. Except for the Undertaker's match, the other "major matches" didn't excite me much.

I think that's all for now. Enjoy WrestleMania!

V6 Oh! My ! Goodness! Review

Assalamualaikum and welcome to today "Mega Monday". Actually, tomorrow I have a written "test" and I should read/study this night. So I decided to write this entry few hours before night arrive. I just want to make a PERSONAL REVIEW about V6 newest album, "Oh! My! Goodness!". I've wrote an entry about it last Wednesday, but that is not a review. This is my review...

First and foremost, I would like to list the tracks in the album:

1. omg!
2. Supernova
3. BING♂
4. Sexy.Honey.Bunny!
5. Maybe
6. Only Dreaming
7. D.I.S
8. Exotic Trip
9. Bari Bari Buddy!
10. Otona Guyz
11. Rock Your Soul
12. Senkou Hanabi
13. Shin'ai no Kimi e
14. kEEP oN
15. orz...

Basically, as a fan, maybe my review quite bias. But, nonetheless, I think this album satisfy me. Supernova is the most anticipated song in this album since the song was introduced in their concert 2 years ago. And I've read somewhere that during this year tour, V6 has introducing a new song, "Flashback". Do we need to wait for another 2 years? I don't know.

There are a few tracks that have caught my attention when I first listened to them. They are "BING♂"(pronounced Bingo), "D.I.S", "Otona Guyz" and "Senkou Hnabi". But other songs are still good and now they're "grew" on me.

For my "Shin'ai no Kimi e" sounds like an old V6 song, but I'm not sure what song that is. But when I listen to the song, I have a nostalgic feeling, like listening to an old V6 song, the one from early 00's.

"Exotic Trip" is quite a unique song, that is why the song need some time to grow on me.

I think that's all for now, the rest are as you can expect from V6. Enjoyable and fun. Before I forget, the first and last track is just basically people saying "Oh! My! Goodness!" with a music background in it. The last track is pretty much the same. It just all V6 members saying those phrase. Can you distinguish who is making the "Oh! My! Goodness!" sound? You can get the answer in the Limited Edition B of the album. It's hillarious, spoiler: they bullied Sakamoto again...

With that, see you later,

Leader is a Person Who Lead!

White smoke emerges from the chimney on the roof of the Sistine Chapel to signify to the world that a new pope has been chosen. Photograph: Gregorio Borgia/AP

Assalamualaikum and welcome to today "Thursday Thriller". Just a quick entry I guess. Did you know that the new pope has been chosen? After a few days, I'm not sure how many days, three maybe, the Sistine Chapel "chimney" emitting the black smoke, at last, the long awaited white smoke came out to signify that the new pope has been chosen. The 266th pope, called as Pope Francis I is the first pope from Americas that comes from Argentina. His name is Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Enough about that, do you know? China has also elected their new president? Xi Jinping is their new president.

I just want to say that being a leader carry a big responsibility. Some people love being a leader just because of the fame, the power and many other advantages. Being a leader means he need to lead. He must lead their followers to do things right. As a Muslim, become a leader is a burden as it will be asked at the judgement day. Wrong step, you got a one way ticket to the hell. 13th General Election is also just around a corner here in Malaysia. I couldn't wait to see their manifesto, their campaign, and to vote. I hope power will not blinded them and I hope I could vote the right candidate. It is our responsibility as a citizen to choose our leader.

With that,

Oh You Didn't Know? Oh! My! Goodness!

Assalamualaikum and welcome to today "Wednesday Wonder". I have no intention to write a long entry today. I'm just want to share about thing that happen to me. As you can see, I cannot update my blogs as frequent as before. I have another commitment to fulfill.

The story is just about me didn't notice about the new V6 Album, Oh! My! Goodness! Didn't interesting right? Never mind, feel free to leave this entry as you want. It is just a coincidence, I am also a wrestling fan. To all wrestling fans out there, especially WWE, remember one of Booker T catchphrase? "Oh...Ma...Goodness..." This V6 new album take the same line as their album name. And they released this album on 20th February 2013. And I just notice about it yesterday. I know about this album, but I don't remember the release date. And I know they'll do a nationwide tour this year. If only I have okane (money), I'll definitely go there.

I think that is all for now. Sorry for wasting your time, but here is their on of the new Promotional Video (PV) from that album, "Otona Guyz". The other PV is quite adult I think. I don't think it is suitable to share it here.

Google Glasses: It's an Anime Come True!

Assalamualaikum and welcome to all Infinitesane-Daily visitors. It is already Wednesday here in Malaysia but I know that there are certain part of the world still in their Tuesday. So, here is this edition of "Techy Tuesday". I'm late today because I watched "Monday Night Raw" in HD. Yes, we don't air it live in Malaysia because during the live airing, it is morning in Malaysia. So, most of us have things to do. Nonetheless, lets just get on to the topic shall we?

Did you watched or read Dragon Ball when you are young or when you a kid? I do, I watched and read the Akira Toriyama's masterpiece and completely attached to it. Remember the Saiyan and the Frieza troop? They are wearing something at their right eyes right? It was used as a gauge to measure another person's strength and energy. Well, Google did something like that. But not for the same purpose of course.

The Google Glasses has create the buzz at the "Techy" world. As it concern about privacy issues. Conan O'Brien in his sketch at his late night talk show, has made a bit about Google Glasses and made a parody about it called "Google Ass". But of course the buzz didn't quite felt here in Malaysia. Because we don't even know whether they decided to market it here or not.

But as a Dragon Ball fans, I am looking forward onto this device. I'm not even sure what are they offering us, the consumers. Maybe after a bit research on Google will shed light to it. Maybe, because I'm quite busy to do that things right now. I just do that thing during my free time. If you guys know what is this Google Glasses all about, drop me a comment down below. I leave you with a demonstration video of "Google Glasses"

Jihad: A Misconception

Image taken from here

Assalamualaikum and welcome everybody to Infinitesane Daily, keeping you sane. I promised that I will post this entry 2 weeks ago, but due to the busy schedule or I just forgot, I finally manage to post it right now. It almost Saturday here, but it's still Friday in certain part of the globe. This time I really need to make an explanation about this issue. Because some people have misunderstood about what Jihad is.

For somebody who's not a Muslim (or maybe some Muslim don't really know), Jihad portray violence, armor, fight, killing innocent people and many other negative perception. I will briefly explain to you right here. I'm not gonna tell you in-depth since I'm afraid you're not ready to "swallow" the input I try to give to you. I will just tell you the general idea about Jihad so that you will not see Jihad as a bad thing. Do you know what I'm doing right now is a Jihad?

Jihad derived from the Arabic word: Jahada. means that to do something wholeheartedly to achieve something. So basically, protecting religion, life or dignity is also counts as a Jihad. Spreading the good teaching, like what I did right now is also count as a Jihad. I try my best to convey my kind and warm message to you, I try to urge you to do good things, is also a Jihad. Students, study to be closer to Allah, also a Jihad. The one who died in a war to protect religion is called "syuhada" or in English, a martyr. If a mom died giving birth to a child, she got the reward same as the martyr.

So, did you get the idea of Jihad in Islam? Basically, the concept is to protect. That's why it is forbidden for a Muslim (supposedly) to kill innocent people in a war such as women, children and older people. The concept is to protect. It's beautiful, not Barbaric.

I think that is all for now. I need to get some rest, I almost recover right now.
