- Thomas Cup 2012: Unfortunate Event for Malaysia; a Glimpse of Hope? & F1 Qualifying Result

Assalamualaikum and welcome to the first "Sporty Saturday" in the Infinitesane Daily after the introduction entry. You can read it here.
Malaysia has been shown the exit in the quarterfinal Thomas Cup 2012 by the host nation, China. What's more unfortunate for Malaysia than Dato' Lee Chong Wei got injured AGAIN in this tournament. It was a match between him against Peter Gade of Denmark when the game just begun. His ligament was torn and fortunately he'll recover within a month. Then, Malaysia lost to the Denmark 3-2. So, Malaysia finished second in the group stage. In quarterfinal, well... as you know/predict it, Malaysia lost in every game.
However, something caught my attention. Liew Daren won a set against China no. 1, Lin Dan. Well, you may say that Lin Dan made many mistakes but I've watched Liew Daren played before and I can say he's quite promising. Even though he's 25 years old already. Nonetheless, he has skills like Chong Wei, he love to do tricky shot, like Chong Wei always did. The only things he need to improve is the accuracy and pressure management. He did well against Denmark, but always made mistakes and give many free point to Lin Dan. And based on the U-21 squad in Axiata Cup, in a few years, maybe these young players will shine again. I'm talking about Misbun Ramdan, son of lagendary Misbun Sidek, Iskandar Zulkarnain and World Junior Champion, Zulfadli Zulkifli. THEY NEED MORE COMPETITIVE MATCHES! They need experiences, that's what they're lacking right now. If BAM still relying on the old players like Hafiz Hashim, well...don't take any of my words before.
Actually, right now I'm watching F1 qualifying round right now and here is the result:

Michael Schumacher almost get the first top spot since his comeback. Actually he did. It's just the mistake that he does make him start at 6th place.
That's all for now. See you guys tomorrow. There is many thing to tell about.
Hasta luego,
