Syria, Egypt and Palestine: The Reason We Should Be Grateful

Assalamualaikum and very good day to InfinitesaneDaily viewer.

This Saturday is the independence day for Malaysia. I just want to say that I'm very grateful breathing on a free land, despite of political issues lingering around this country, I still can say that I can still walk around, having a good time with my family and friends without having any restriction or detention.

Independence day has become a celebration for Malaysian, a public holiday. Many (not all) young people are more concern about where to hang out on the night of the celebration rather than to reflect on the sacrifices made for our freedom.

When I turn on the news and saw conflict in Syria, Egypt and Palestine, my heart cry. As a Muslim, they're my brothers and sisters. Sometimes I don't want to watch it because it hurt. Assad with the chemical weapon, and USA insist to attack Syria. Who is the victim? Of course the defenseless citizen. You don't have to be smart to know that.

So, I urge all Malaysian to be grateful and embrace the freedom. Do not jeopardize this freedom just for a political interests. It's fine to have differences, but don't make it as an excuse to ruin this freedom.

I wish we all live in peace and harmony.
